Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I’m so confused right now…
today… after sixth form… went off to practice on the kit at another school….

*an hour passes by as i practice*

A guy (about in his late 30’s) approached me (as i was playing), he looks at the music i was playing, so whilst i was playing i tried to show him where i was (i did it succesfully) and well err… i think he read it as i played it.

After i finished the guy was really impressed that I could read music (what the hell? i I could ALWAYS read music) and he invited me to this band thingy (he’s not in it, a friend of his is) and he says that they need, not only a trombonist, but a percussionest who can read music.

then later he asks me what music a was jamming with, and what book i got it with…. after filling him in all the details he said something like “Cool, cool, i should try and get the guitar version of the book and jam/perform with you sometimes” then he walks away…

WHAT THE HELL MAN?!?!?!?!
LIKE ACTUALLY?!?!?!
WAS THE GUY ASKING ME TO PERFORM ONSTAGE?!?!
AND IF SO, WHY THE HELL DID HE WALK AWAY?!?!?!
weirdo…

don’t think I’ll be seeing him for quite sometime now hahaha

I just realized something…

people may already noticed but err…. I don’t think theres that many Chinese Scotch people around are there?

I’m possibly like the ONLY person who has Scottish, Chinese, Italian, Indian blood inside of me! wow! it’s crazy!!!

I know! It’s unbelievably isn’t it? I can hardly believe it myself but it’s true hahaha

“Right, so today in music we were doing this songcalled “over the rainbow” so everyone had to play an instrument…

Johnny – Bass
Hannah – Flute
Beth – Piano
Jack – guitar
Me – cymbals… just one cymbal…

yeah anyway, the teacher put Jack in charge of this music arrangement thingy and the first thing we need was a singer to actually sing the song, no-one was up for it as you can imagine.
We then decided to single it down to fewer people so we said that Hannah couldn’t do it coz she’s playing the flute (obviously) and well Jack was in charge so obviously he didn’t pick himself hahaha
So it was Me, Johnny and Beth left… We couldn’t decide… seriously…
We all agreed that Beth has a great voice (which she has) but she’s not really up for the singing and well… Johnny… Johnny wasn’t even listening… he was doing some stuff on the bass…
So everyone then looked at me, and i was like *oh shit… their gonna pick me… just because i’m the one whos not playing as much as them… damn…*

So yeah, they did pick me, but they also picked Beth to sing the song.

I was trying to get out of it but Beth was saying how great my voice was (thanks for the encouragement) and well… that sorta put me in my place, the teacher heard it and she put me down as a singer =(

How the f*ck am i supposed to sing??? SERIOUSLY?!?! HAVE THEY EVEN HEARD ME TALK?!?!?! GOD!!!!!
Like really… My voice… singing “Over the Rainbow”
They’ve got to be kidding, i’m a drummer guy, who plays several instruments… but not the voice….

I wouldn’t be too bothered if i was doing a song like “500 miles” by the proclaimers with James S. whos voice sounds great like that! hahaha
Oh btw has anyone got his number or email addy??

The damn teacher told me to sing… and i said i didn’t know the words (which i didn’t) so she told me to go on the internet… damn…
so i got it (eventually) and as soon as i printed it off it was time to go (YES!!!!) so she told me to practise, then i was like “…What?? …. How do you practise singing??? seriously?!?” and she said just do it… just do it…
How the hell am i supposed to do that??? i’m not some kinda guy who becomes great overnight (well i am but still ;P)”

Right, got that? good…
Today was the first time i actually sung the piece…. not cool…
But after a coupla times when i got warmed up and used to it, everone thought i was pretty good…
Even the teacher asked me to go to Choir… cool…. but not cool at the same time lol

Oh yeah, forgot to say, I got my glasses fixed coupla days ago! =) quite happy about that, now I’m not blind as a bat anymore

So happy about school tomorrow, I finish at 1:10PM (Thank god!!!) that means i can waste an hour and 50 mins walking about randomly lol especially since my sis is visiting me now =)

Btw, is there anyone out there who wants to join me in choir on a Thursday after school?? M. Keighleys in it already (thank god, at least ONE cool person is in it), I was talking to Beth (Temperly, not Cooke lol) the other day about it actually, she said that she didn’t really want to go, but she didn’t want to tell the teachers either you know? cause they would eventually volunteer FOR her lol oh well…. Since then we haven;t said anything to teachers about it…..
(she has an UBER great voice btw, that’s why I asked her to come also)

So boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooored………..
